The New General Manager’s Performance Cockpit Book Aims To Give General Managers The edge On Competitors
Christos Kartalis, General Manager and Head of Int’l for Cipla Pharmaceuticals, has published a book entitled The New General Manager’s Performance Cockpit.
Kartalis has released the book with the aim of teaching an individual how to take control as a general manager or as the head of the company. The New General Manager’s Performance Cockpit has been written based on the author’s many years’ experience as a General Manager; it is suitable for both those starting out in their career and for those who are already climbing the career ladder.
By using his book, the author believes that it will give readers the tools to improve their General Manager performance, help them to achieve career and company objectives and reach their performance goals.
Describing his approach to General Management, Christos Kartalis said:
“Management is a balancing/juggling act with many balls. Choose which ball to drop and drop it fast! People often try to balance too many things, and some of the balls will drop. By proactively choosing which ones to drop and dropping them sooner, people can keep the focus on the more valued ones. Otherwise they tend to drop some big ones as well.”
The book sets out everything that the reader needs in order to build a successful career in General Management. Readers will learn how to prioritize their goals, set out their key performance objectives, develop strategies for successful change, and outperform competitors.
Kartalis believes that the system based management methods set out in his book can help General Managers to realize their personal and business objectives and advance careers.
In addition to his many years of experience in General Management, Kartalis has an MBA from the University of Massachusetts and a Post MBA in General Management from INSTEAD in France.
